A lawyer is a professional in the field of law. Different legal systems of countries use the term with somewhat different meanings. The general equivalent in many English legal jurisdictions could be a barrister or solicitor. However, in Scottish, Manx  (the law of the Isle of Man), Southern, African, Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Scandinavian, Polish, Israeli, South Asian, and South American jurisdictions, "advocate" designates an attorney of higher rank.


"Advocate" is in sure word an honorific for legitimate guides, for instance, "Adv. Sir Alberico Gentili". "Advocate" moreover has the standard meaning of rising up to help someone else.  

Becoming An Advocate

The process of turning into an associate degree advocate is remarked as devilling. Advocate High Court

After completion of 2 years, practice Lawyers also can apply for Advocate High court rehearsing certification/ license and after an interview, they can apply for Advocate High Court license.

 Advocate Supreme Court

Advocate Supreme Court is the 3rd position. After successful completion of 10 years of practice in the High Courts by the aspirant, the panel discussion of members of Pakistan Bar Council and one justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, overlook the application. (Before 1985 the demand was the successful completion of 5 years of practice in the High Courts of Pakistan.) Over 50 percent of applications are assumed, after successful completion of the condition. An unsuccessful application in one year doesn't bar the applicant from applying in the coming judicial year.


The top position is the Senior lawyer Supreme Court. It's Pakistan's title equal to Queen's Counsel in the United Kingdom. After at least fifteen years of practice, by assignation or by an application to a council of Supreme Court justices led by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, one can become a Senior lawyer of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. Very few applications are accepted and indeed smaller assignations are made. Attorneys General are generally invited by the Supreme Court on the appointment, to the office. So are some notable High Court judges who upon retirement choose to exercise before the Supreme Court, where they're still eligible to do so.
